Enviro 06
 

Enviro 06 is a conference and exhibition to showcase the Australian environment industry. Held bi-annually, this event was held in Melbourne from Tuesday 9 May to Thursday 11 May 2006. CORE attended the event to support members.

 
Eric Love of CORE has been responsible for the organisation of the stream v1 - Strategies for Sucessful Organics Recycling - Viability, Contamination & Markets.
 

This stream explored the challenges of building and operating organics re-aggregation systems and re-processing facilities. It embraces the interests of both the practitioners, Local Government and the regulators covering issues such as:

  1. Research, the "Road Map" findings.
  2. Government policy directions, feed stocks.
  3. Processing technologies and practices, improving industry reputation and viability.
  4. Strategies, education and marketing, future directions, markets demand creation, managing contamination in collection systems.
  5. Professional development/ capability building, accreditation of products, linking the supply chain.
 

Eric Love of CORE opened the stream on Tuesday 9 May 2006 at 10.30am.
