Healthy Sustainable Gardens Program

The Centre for Organic & Resource Enterprises (CORE) with endorsement from Metropolitan Waste Management Group (MWMG) is conducting the Healthy Sustainable Gardens Program (HSGP) for Spring and Summer 2010/2011.

Healthy Sustainable Gardens Program started in 2005 and is a market development program aimed at:

  • Raising awareness and knowledge about green organics recycling
  • Providing the gardening public with greater access to recycled mulch and compost
  • Supporting the recycled organics industry and communities with closing the loop on green organics recycling

The Healthy Sustainable Gardens Program provides councils with a great opportunity to maintain sustainable recycling of organics, retail outlets with the opportunity to promote these products and customers with the chance to discover and try recycled organics products through promotions.
